I wanted to make a simple side dish that would go well with rotis,so thought why not Tondli curry.
I often make this curry as a side dish for rasam/sambhar rice..It tastes really good and its so easy to make.
I did not add mustard/urad dal to this curry.Made it just with 1 and half tablespoon of oil !
Ingredients:
200 gms of Tondli- Slice them vertically
1/2 tablespoon Turmeric Powder
1-2 tablespoon Oil
1 tablespoon Coriander powder
1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
Salt
In a small saute pan, heat some oil and add the sliced tondlis.Fry for a minute. Then sprinkle little water and cover it.
After 2-3 mins add turmeric powder, coriander powder and the red chilli powder.mix them properly, saute/fry for a min or two and cover it.
Keep checking whether the tondlis are cooked.Once they are cooked add salt and mix well.Fry it for sometime. The curry is ready ! Serve it with rotis/rice .
